Building upon 25 years of research, this theatrical re-examination of a classic myth through dance draws upon historical narratives, artistic ruminations, personal quests and deep uncertainties to ask the questions: why retell a myth? What contemporary lessons can we learn from it? And what can dance, in particular, contribute to the retelling?
